The World of MECS
 
MECS is a small consultancy company that provides specialized technical services to the Oil Industry on a global scale
The founder of MECS, Manfred Eigner has worked for the Oil Industry (Shell International) for 40 years in a variety of technical disciplines. During the last 9 years of his career he was responsible for well Drilling and Completion Fluids as well as for Cementing Fluids. His responsibilities ranged from the delivery of quality fluids to well engineering operations as well as implementing new fluid technology to drilling & completion activities. In the later stage of his career he was a team leader of a group of graduates and lab technicians carrying out research on non-damaging well fluids with the explicit task to implement them in drilling operations. In this role the team established excellent contacts with well engineering operations world wide.
After retirement in November 2001 Manfred Eigner became active in the same role as  shown above, however now serving in principle the whole of the Oil Industry. Since December 2001 MECS have conducted the following projects:
